Undergraduate courses
As a lecturer at I teach a fair bit at the undergraduate level. However, the most important of these are following two modules I developed and lead:
- Data Carpentry: Introduction R programming, reproducible research and linear models for 2nd-year Biology Undergraduates
- Interrogating Genomes: an introduction to genomics and bioinformatics for 2nd-year Biology Undergraduates
Graduate courses
I have previously taught introduction to linear models and multivariate statistics at the University of Oxford’s BBSRC-funded Doctoral training programme. Material for these courses can be found here and here.
Beyond
I teach data wrangling and visualization with the tidyverse in R to staff and students as part of the training programme of the Centre for Functional Genomics at Oxford Brookes University.
I helped developed a course on Literate Programming in R for Elixir’s Code Reproducibility initiative.
